Acai of relief
MANILA, Philippines - In honor of Earth Day, Kiehl’s is releasing a limited-edition collection where 100 percent of net proceeds will benefit the Rainforest Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving biodiversity and ensuring sustainable livelihoods.
“Friends of Kiehl’s” — namely actress Julianne Moore, artist Jeff Koons and musician Pharrell Williams — each created a label that depicts their vision of social responsibility for the organic Acai Damage-Protecting Toning Mist.
Using a high concentration of super-antioxidant organic acai berry, responsibly grown and cultivated in the Brazilian Amazon, the toning mist refreshes and soothes skin while providing a sheer layer of antioxidant protection against environmental aggressors.
Kiehl’s is at Greenbelt 5, Ayala Center, Makati.
Clean and green
The idea for the brand started when they read other “green” product labels and thought, “Shouldn’t safe for the planet be safe for people?” Each of their products cleans like crazy and is safe around babies: earth safe, people safe and picky mother-in-law safe.
BabyGanics is both natural and organic, 100-percent chemical free and does not contain caustic ingredients.
BabyGanics is available exclusively at Rustan’s Makati, Edsa Shangri-La, Alabang Town Center, Gateway and Cebu.
