Cebuanas surely know how to dress for the occasion. The ladies looked fierce and simply delish in their tights, both printed or plain. This helped them to stay warm and comfy in the chilly weather. Some stayed with classic jeans. Others opted to wear a dress or a skirt. But if there was one thing that tied Cebuanas, it was their fabulous shoes. Whether sporting flats, pumps, stilettos or knee-high gladiators, the girls were all in happy feet mode. They were definitely equipped for a night of dancing and being seen.
Cebu witnessed a weekend party with the unveiling of Nokia’s 5800 XpressMusic and the first Hed Kandi dance party to be brought here by Big Fish. It was perfect timing since the Queen City of the South just celebrated its Sinulog festival. The Cebu International Convention Center was packed with southern eye candy as the ladies danced to the wicked and sexy beats of DJ Andy Daniels. A splash of brilliant video images on a larger-than-life screen served as a perfect backdrop for Peyton’s upbeat vocal talent behind the hit song A Higher Place. Peyton’s live and brilliant performance kept the Cebuanos in high spirits. Sexy dancers donning fashionable clubber outfits moved and grooved under two huge headsets, an iconic symbol of the Hed Kandi girls.
