CHECKOUT COUNTER: No church in the wild

MANILA, Philippines - No two ways about it, the street’s growing up.

With Beeline by Billionaire Boys Club, the new collaboration between hip-hop Renaissance man Pharrell Williams and famously preppy designer Mark McNairy, high fashion’s meeting the street—a movement not lost on our local brands. With a more polished approach to street culture, these brands are wearable whether you’re heading to school or the skate park.

Two local street brands are doing just that. The Twelfth House and THE Clothing have teamed up for a capsule collection in time for those random monsoon rains we’re privy to mid-year. From the collaboration come two windbreaker jackets—one in black, the other in camouflage. The windbreaker’s material is thin and lightweight enough to wear when the sun hits the city, and water-resistant so you’re protected from the rain and the chill.

Artist and fixed gear enthusiast Kiko Escora and musician Diego Castillo are the models for the look book shot by An Estrada of analog photography duo Your Evil Twin.
