MANILA, Philippines - Despite fears that they were going to fold, Wolfgang has barked back, this time with a much-anticipated album tour in partnership with retail brand No Fear.
“Working with No Fear was a no-brainer. We both believe in the concept of rugged individualism,” says the band. Style-wise, Wolfgang adds that No Fear apparel is just the perfect clothing to wear on tour, aside from that it fits their style taste, they also deem No Fear as “pretty hardworking clothing.”
Given No Fear’s signature no-nonsense approach to street wear, the brand has been a big hit for teens and anyone with a fondness for comfortable casual wear with an edge. Being a rock band, Wolfgang usually favors a more casual style of dressing, making them perfect for No Fear.
Now set to release their seventh studio album, Wolfgang is preparing for its release, with a big album tour planned in as many colleges in the country as they can visit. “At the moment, we are in the middle of a 25-city national tour, and in the thick of preparing for the band’s 20th year of making music, which we dubbed as “Wolfang dos ekis”, because it will be as extreme twice-over.”
Having enjoyed so much success since the mid ‘90s, Wolfgang also looks back on their story of success, “Odd as it may sound, we believe that it’s all about sticking to your guns and not going after what other people think is the next big thing. We’ve never been followers of trends. It’s always been about playing only the music that we want to play, no compromises, just rock - straight up.”
