Holy smokes! Films that preach!

MANILA, Philippines - Now in its fourth year of bringing the secular and the spiritual together, the Gideon’s Flame film festival is proud to announce that this year’s festival will present over 14 new inspirational short and feature films from around the world, including several locally-produced films like A Journey Home, directed by Paul Soriano and starring Toni Gonzaga, and The Answer, directed by Joel Lamangan and starring Cherry Pie Picache and Mylene Dizon. International films that will be screened include the award-winning Like Dandelion Dust starring Mira Sorvino, and The Sons of God trilogy, three shorts about the spiritual struggle between angels and fallen angels. For the kids, two Veggietales movies and Skeeter and the Mystery of the Lost Mosquito will be shown on Saturday morning. For the full schedule and film synopsis, go to gideonsflame.ws.
