My hair says a lot

Recently, Cream Silk invited progressive women of Manila to an afternoon of style talks born out of a skillful partnership with Hollywood hairstylist Steven Lake.

The event encouraged women to be their own stylists with the help of new Cream Silk variants that suit different types of hair to match their identity. The afternoon was capped by an exhibition on the latest hairstyle trends presented by Manila’s top hair gurus.

What is your daily hairstyle?

I opt for the classic, straight look for my hair. Not only does it go well with my minimalist look, it’s also easy to maintain.

What is your daily beauty routine?

I start my day out with a regular routine — working up some styling, while making sure to don my most beautiful outfit, something that complements my hair and makeup to face my busy day.

DOROTHY DEE

Why is it important to have a hair revolution for today’s Filipina?

Since the modern Filipina’s style is constantly changing, and is now able to balance classic looks with more daring styles, the hair revolution empowers her to be her own stylist every day.

GAIL GOCHANGCO

What is your signature style?

I go for very classic designs and solid colors. Think Audrey Hepburn-inspired!

CHESKA GARCIA

How do you keep your hair looking soft all day long?

Cream Silk Smooth Defense Crème tames my fluffy hair and wayward strands to help me keep this sleek ’do.

MONIQUE TODA

Which hairstyle suits your hectic lifestyle?

Long and straight, with layers!
Moto RIZR rises!
Moto RIZR took center stage at the Space Ibiza World tour held at the World Trade Center. Moto-mania clubbers were whipped into a frenzy by the music of superstar DJ Sin Plomo. A spaceship hovered over the sea of dancing bodies, which, together with a bright tunnel filled with stars, was a visual delight in anticipation of the Moto RIZR laser light show. Motorola’s DJ Owens Sun started the evening by prepping them for a night to remember. DJ Sin Plomo soon came onboard and gave Manila a taste of the music of Ibiza with a blimp that circled above the crowd dropping Styrofoam balls, some of which informed the lucky recipients that they had just won a brand-new Moto RIZR phone.

AUDREY EDNACOT

What is a Moto-style party?

Moto partying should be all-out and bizarre with people from all over the world to enjoy a unique experience like none before.

BEA SORIANO

What makes the Philippines a certified party nation?

We have the ability to have fun in any weather.

MICHELE PADUA

Which party are you expecting to rock?

Summer parties in Boracay!

VI Gatapia

A great party is not complete without…?

Movers and shakers dancing the night away.

ROSANNA OCAMPO

What is your dream party night?

It doesn’t have to be at night, actually. I like those all-day, very chic and world-renowned summer parties in St. Tropez, with a pool, all-white sofas and lounge chairs.

ISABEL GOLEZ

Which DJ would you like to see in Manila?

ATB! He’s a classic DJ with many songs that Filipinos know about. He also rocks the house with his famous style of DJing, and that’s to keep the music and party going for hours and hours!
