In the Myx

The most-anticipated musical event of the year, MYX MO! 2006 created a myx-plosion of thrills and surprises as it rocked the whole CCP Open Grounds. Tagged as one giant "school fair" – complete with cotton candy and ice cream stalls, henna tattoo parlors, three-point-shot hoops booths, rifle galleries, climbing walls, My MYX booth (where you could act as MYX VJs and request the videos you liked), the event featured an inter-collegiate battle of the bands, as well as exciting live performances from Amber, Blades, Callalily, 6cyclemind, Shamrock, Soapdish, Stonefree, Protein Shake, Frio, Hilera, Chillitees, Craeons, Blue Ketchup, Fig, Jacob, Juana, Salamin, The Ambassadors, Typecast, Wickermoss, and the revamped Color It Red.

Pepsi gave a live and loud culmination party for five lucky contest winners along with their friends. Before the party, a fashion makeover by Penshoppe and style makeover from Propaganda, plus their very own photo shoot was organized as a treat to them. And in true Pepsi fashion, the winners’ dreams came true with a rare VIP access and private concert from Pepsi’s rock star – Bamboo!

Pepsi’s Marketing Head Clars Guerrero shares, "Pepsi has always had a close affiliation with the music industry, as embodied by its strong pool of global and local artist endorsers in the past decades. With this effort, Pepsi shows how committed we are to supporting and celebrating the music of today’s generation as best represented by one of the Philippines’ hottest rock bands, Bamboo.
