MANILA, Philippines – The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) is supporting this year’s Philippine Shopping Festival (ShopFest) from Oct. 23 to Nov. 8 in partnership with the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA).
In line with TPB’s Visit the Philippines (VPY) 2015 campaign and PRA’s efforts to develop the Philippine retail industry, the festival aims to make the Philippines a new shopping destination in the Asia Pacific region.
“ShopFest 2015 hopes to attract more foreign tourists to come to the country and visit our many shopping destinations for a wide selection of quality and affordable products,” says TPB COO Domingo Ramon Enerio III.
Shopping malls and retailers will offer different promos and discounts of up to 70 percent on their finest products to entice local and foreign travelers to enjoy a unique shopping experience in the country.
ShopFest 2015 will be held in line with other international business and trade events in the Philippines, including the Asia Pacific Retailers Convention and Exhibition on Oct. 28-30 and the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting on Nov. 18-19.
