Princess Cruises marks 50th year

MANILA, Philippines - Princes Cruises commemorates its 50th year with a variety of events and activities.

One night on every cruise, the main dining rooms will present a special 50th anniversary menu, featuring commemorative dishes from the past five decades. The cruise is known for its authentic regional cuisine - from fresh salmon in Alaska to Indonesian grilled lamb chops in Hawaii. The chefs will also introduce a variety of new anniversary pizzas.

Indulge in chocolate desserts, chocolate-and-wine tastings, and chocolate spa treatments – all created for Princess Chocolate Journeys by master chocolatier Norman Love. He has designed two desserts especially for the 50th anniversary - chocolate raspberry mousse with vanilla crème brulee and crunchy shortbread and a moist chocolate dome with raspberry creme brulee and bittersweet chocolate mousse.

At the bar new Seawitch West Coast IPA beer has been crafted for the golden anniversary.

Finally, the Princess Cruises legacy will be celebrated with a Love Boat party on the top deck, complete with entertainment and the Princess Trivia Challenge.
