Hotel H2O helps calamity victims

MANILA, Philippines - In the wake of the recent floods spawned by heavy monsoon rains and Tropical Storm Maring, Hotel H2O provided much-needed support to the Philippine Red Cross’ efforts to aid the calamity victims. The hotel staff launched a relief drive that accumulated over P16,000 worth of groceries, canned food items, milk, and bottled water. At the same time, the hotel also collected pre-owned but usable clothes, footwear, towels, bed sheets, bags, and toys from its guests. The donations were turned over by general manager Lily Santos Adrid to the Manila chapter of the Philippine Red Cross last Aug. 24. Hotel H2O’s relief operations are a fundamental part of its corporate social responsibility mission.
