MANILA, Philippines - Duty Free Philippines (DFP), one of the attached agencies of the Department of Tourism (DOT), inaugurated its newly renovated outlet at the Terminal 2 arrival area of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Parañaque City recently.
DFP unveiled the new store in simple rites led by former Tourism Secretary Alberto Lim.
The new image of the outlet is customized to achieve a one-brand look for DFP with the design adapting three major elements significant to its operations.
First, the yellow theme, DFP’s primary color and incidentally the dominant color of the Aquino administration, symbolizing as well the popular people power revolt. Second, the passport stamps representing DFP’s image as an international travelers’ shopping haven; and third, the silver metal to symbolize DFP’s 25th year.
