Little Chef's 2010 at Crowne

MANILA, Philippines - Little Chef’s 2010, Crowne Plaza’s much-awaited annual summer cooking workshop, is happening this May.

Introduce your kid to the world of culinary arts under the tutelage of professional chefs from Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila.

The program is open to kids aged five to 10. It will be offered in two batches: May 1 to 2, and May 15 to 16.

Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Galleria Manila’s Executive Chef Angelo Faoro created a program that is fun, interesting and educational.

The Little Chef’s cooking class will give the kids the opportunity to familiarize themselves with different ingredients and kitchen equipment, learn the proper measurement and preparation of ingredients, witness first-hand the science of cooking, and explore their creative side in decorating their very own masterpieces.

Aside from hands-on cooking, they will also be taught food safety and the importance of personal hygiene.

After the lecture and hands-on cooking lessons, an exciting tour of Crowne Plaza’s state-of-the-art kitchen is also included in the program.

After completing the workshop, a graduation ceremony will be held at Seven Corners Restaurant where each participant will receive a certificate of completion signed by the Executive Chef.

The Little Chef’s 2010 summer workshop entitles participants to their own chef’s jacket, toque, apron and side towel as well as manuals, name tags and recipés. 

The program also includes snacks, drinks and free lunch at Seven Corners during the graduation day. Parents and loved ones wishing to celebrate the children’s achievement will also get 25 percent off the Seven Corners’ buffet lunch that day.
