MANILA, Philippines - With the average life expectancy of a Filipino at 72 years, keeping physically fit is a rare activity for people in their 50s. But not so for Mayor Eksam Lloren of Jagna, Bohol.
Call it life’s enduring achievement but a long life is not only a matter of genetics, it’s also a choice. One can choose to stay inactive, lead a sedentary life and not reach a ripe old age. Or one can remain active throughout the years to enjoy good health and prolong one’s life.
Such is the case of Lloren who continues life’s journey in good physical condition. Not only has he taken good care of his health, but he also considers his body as God’s temple and preserves it by respecting the laws of nature.
Want to know how he stays young and healthy? Catch Lloren every Saturday at 2 p.m. on NBN Channel 4 on a new TV show called “Borderless Adventure.”
The show, which starts tomorrow, is produced by Kriskada Events Inc., a new production outfit that advocates a healthy lifestyle. In the works are other programs.
Travel with Lloren as he scales Mt. Pinatubo, embarks on treetop adventures in Subic, takes the plunge in Danao, Bohol and tries wakeboarding in Calatagan, Batangas.
