Ceboom! Ceboom!

For some 22 years running, the whole of Cebu City explodes into frenzied revelry every third week of January, celebrating the feast of its patron saint Santo Niño. In the eyes of the uninitiated, it may all seem like an endless mardi-gras and senseless merry-making. It is a yearly pilgrimage for most, coming from far and wide and from all walks of society.

Through the years, the Sinulog has evolved into what it is today. It has become just bigger and better.
