A walk from the beach, the cottages are positioned in almost a winding manner so that no rooms or cottages face each other. Seen from a distance, they form a cluster of posh vacation houses that line many a Miami street.
The resort is also a short walk from a lot of the pleasures that Boracay has to offer (especially the nightlife), while being just far enough to provide peace and quiet.
Resident manager Teody Espallardo explains that Boracay Gold Crowne Beach Resort was formerly Milas Beach Club which was famous for its Spanish concept. Conveniently located near Boat Station 1 in Balabag, Malay Aklan Boracay Gold Crowne is near where Boracays most pristine white sand is.
Visitors pass through El Toro, one of Boracays more famous restaurants, to get inside the compound. Inside are cottages bedecked with bougainvilla blooms. The rooms provide the ample comforts of a quiet vacation good air-conditioning, cable television, hot and cold water, and a mini bar.
The resort has been designed to accommodate a variety of clients from honeymooning couples to families. A summer three-day, two-night package goes for P3,000. This includes breakfast and land and boat transfers.
This year, the resort took part in the 5th Nestea Beach Volleyball University Challenge held last April. Espallardo says the resort is also set to do a beach cleanup in a few months, apart from the regular cleanup of its own beachfront.
