‘Twister Fries’ trends,nation spirals into relapse

MANILA, Philippines - McDonald’s Twister Fries are so good — and arguably the greatest food ever invented — that they could very well be evil. They are so evil, in fact, that they drive us to addiction, only to disappear for months at a time, then come back to watch us relapse into an addiction we can’t even remember we’d recovered from. It’s sort of like torture, except it’s a hundred times more enjoyable, which I guess makes us all masochists.

UP Pep Squad wins social media

The UAAP Cheerdance competition once again upstaged the actual UAAP tournament, as it brought sports fans, non-sports fans, and fans of the Internet together in one big snark-fest. The big story was the UP Pep Squad, which finished second place, but nonetheless went to first place in people’s hearts with an equality theme that they chose to illustrate through muscular girls lifting up boys. Well done, UP. Too bad social media wasn’t one of the judges.
