Sound check: The newest top-of-the-line headphones from Monster are now available in the Philippines.

MANILA, Philippines - Monster recently unveiled its newest batch of high-performance headphones at an event that celebrated quality audio technology, function and style, at Opus in Resorts World Manila.

Eleksis Marketing is the exclusive Philippine distributor of Monster headphones, and together with its events group Catch 21 Rebound Marketing, they mounted a fashion show in collaboration with designer Sassa Jimenez, clothing brands Diesel and Mizuno, and stylist Lil Padilla-Sumayao.

Models donned Diesel with Monster VEKTR headphones — a product designed for men who want something edgy. In addition to a dramatically enhanced audio performance, VEKTER offers a striking cosmetic, with a sharp faceted look that’s completely different from traditional round on-ear headphones. VEKTR’s design reflects Diesel’s obsession with innovation and attention to detail. Stylistic details include a silkscreen Mohican head on both ear cups (which also features a distinctive diamond-cut Diesel logo), combined with touches of contrasting black, gray and brushed aluminum, as well as different finishes (shiny, matte and rubberized paint). As an exclusive design element, even the cable features a special triangular section that prevents tangling.

For the younger market, Monster has co-created NTune on-ear headphones and the NErgy In-ear Headphones with Nick Cannon as part of the NCredible line. Both are distortion-free and precision-tuned, and reflect energy, optimism and vitality.

There’s also the Gwen Stefani-inspired Harajuku Lovers line, with three versions of headphones — Harajuku Lovers Super Kawaii, HL Wicked Style, and HL Space Age G.

In addition, Monster has collaborated with legendary group Earth, Wind & Fire to produce Gratitude, headphones for those who appreciate natural music and the intimacy of a great live performance.

Other Monster in-ear headphones are the Monster Turbine, Monster Jamz, and Monster Lil’ Jamz.

After the audio-visual presentation by managing director of Monster Cable Asia Pacific Robert Fong, and the Monster fashion show, the Philippine All-Stars hyped out the crowd with their edgy dance number incorporating the use of the new headphones as the source of their adrenaline in dancing.

And of course, “because music matters,” to cap off the night, Monster’s Benjie Martinez and Jacqueline Joaquin raffled off 10 units of Monster Inspiration headphones. All guests and celebrities including Aubrey Miles and Troy Montero went home with their own Monster headphones.
