MANILA, Philippines - Lita “Mama Lita” Alejar-Faustino celebrated her 85th birthday last Oct. 14 at the McKinley Village Clubhouse, Taguig. Her eight children, including her son Lito, who is based in Canada, and composer/arranger Tats and Mon, made the event extra special. Mama Lita is grandmother to 16 and great grandmother to five. Her birthday was indeed a celebration of life as she recently survived a mild coronary thrombosis. Other guests were her co-Rhapsody members, closest amigas, former classmates from UST Pharmacy and SPC Manila, doctor friends, showbiz and music personalities as well as other relatives.
