MANILA, Philippines - Presenting an exciting insight into what’s in store for the Year of the Water Snake, international feng shui consultant Marites Allen held yet another successful Feng Shui Convention last Jan. 19 at Best Western Premiere F1 Hotel.
Taking into consideration past events that transpired during the Year of the Snake — like in 1941 when the bombing of Pearl Harbor occurred; 1953 when Queen Mary of England died; 1989 when the Tiananmen Square Massacre happened in China; 2001 when the World Trade Center attack happened in the US; and in the Philippines, there was the Dos Palmas kidnapping and the EDSA III revolution, which led to the ousting of then President Joseph Estrada — Allen shares, “This is not to say that similar catastrophic events are indicated in 2013, but to be forewarned is to be forearmed, and feng shui is basically about understanding the prospects of any given year and aligning our activities with the ruling elements to suit our best intentions.â€
Allen is president and CEO of World of Feng Shui (WOFS) Philippines, which provides individuals with various feng shui charms and enhancers as well as feng shui-related books.
In time for the coming celebration of Chinese New Year, Allen holds her annual Feng Shui Convention, which kicked off last Jan. 19, at the Infinity Ballroom of the Best Western Premiere F1 Hotel at Fort Bonifacio in Global City
Allen’s first Feng Shui Convention of the year also served as the platform for the launch of her latest project, Frigga, a fashionable line of luck-enhancing clothing and accessories that are also great for everyday wear. Frigga was already launched in other cities like London and Tokyo, and has received positive response. In addition to this, another thing that Allen is excited about is her soon-to-be launched mobile app, which she is currently developing with an IT group.
