Manila, Philippines - Shangri-La Plaza invites patrons and mall goers to enjoy events designed to feed their creative and artistic passions this July.
Kicking off the Shang’s July line-up is the return of the highly anticipated Eiga Sai or Japanese Film Festival running until July 15. Made possible by The Japan Foundation Manila, Embassy of Japan and the Film Development Council of the Philippines, this year’s film fest features a strong 10-film line-up, with a thorough mixture of genres designed to draw in and captivate individuals of all ages.
Get to know some of today’s exemplary women through “Human Nature’s Pinay & Proud Exhibit,” a photo series featuring select women who have found success in their respective fields; including Lanao del Norte Rep. Aliah Domingo, Filipina-British actress and goodness ambassador Rachel Grant, award-winning documentary director and producer Ditsi Carolino, world-renowned prima ballerina Liza Macuja-Elizalde, swimming champ Akiko Thompson, award-winning actress Eugene Domingo and award-winning journalist Cheche Lazaro.
Celebrate the uniqueness of Filipino artistry with the Saturday Group’s Anniversary Painting Exhibit from July 21 to 30. See the artworks of Filipino masters on exhibit at the Shang’s Grand Atrium.
