MANILA, Philippines - John Hardy, Sustainable Luxury pioneer renowned for its handmade designer jewelry, is expanding its retail presence in Asia with a new shop-in-shop located at the country’s leading luxury department store, Rustan’s.
A luxury jewelry brand based in Bali, John Hardy is a company responsibly creating handcrafted silver and gold designs in an environment of respect for people and nature.
Now with its own space at Rustan’s Silver Vault, the design concept for the John Hardy shop-in-shop was inspired by the heritage of the brand; it fused John Hardy signature iconic motifs with contemporary luxury materials, achieving a modern and timeless aesthetic.
The brand’s various signature collections inspired many of the store designs: the Palu motif, in particular, decorated the vitrines; and the signature Bamboo was used in the showcases.
The latest collection of John Hardy is at Rustan’s Silver Vault at Makati and Shangri-la.
John Hardy creates its designs employing the methods of artisans who crafted jewelry for the ancient royal courts of Bali. These skills have been handed down for generations among the Balinese and today John Hardy head designer and creative director Guy Bedarida, works with the descendants of the royal artisans to create inspired jewelry. Bedarida blends the intrinsic beauty of ancient handcrafting techniques with the classic hand drawing and wax carving practices of Place Vendôme.
