The Catholic Women’s Club (CWC) recently celebrated its 98th anniversary with a Phantom of the Opera-themed Annual Ball at the Makati Shangri-La.
The indefatigable CWC president Nene Pe Lim and ball chair Tessie Amparo together with committee members pooled their talents and resources to ensure that the event will be worthy of the significance of the celebration.
The guests enjoyed the live performances of unforgettable songs from the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical and a well-applauded dance number performed by the club’s officers and members.
The proceeds from the ball will enable the CWC to translate into action its transcendent motto of serving God by serving the poor which the organization has been doing for the past 98 years.
