Weekend away

Seated from left are Jay Litton and author Johnny Litton, (standing, from left) Marielle Litton, Sea Wind Resort housekeeping supervisor Emiliana Machinal fondly called ‘Mommy Milay,’ Angela and Belle Litton with Mikki Buñag.

A break…this is what everyone who is stressed out, overworked or looking for rest and recreation needs at the moment, and among the best places to go is the paradise island of Boracay.  One would surely enjoy alternating dips at Sea Wind resort’s expansive beachfront and its more private freshwater hilltop pools, scrumptious buffet breakfasts, and the island’s cool-blue waters and natural, powder-fine sandy beach.  Sea Wind president Federico “Boy” Jarantilla and charming wife Ruth and son Joebert Cocjin and wife Susan are especially proud of the resort’s rustic 54 villas that are fitted with the most modern amenities available and a museum filled with artifacts that depict the entire history of the island.  These are just a couple of reasons why guests wish they could stay a little bit longer. Travel pleasures with Minerva

Travel buddies have their photo taken at one of Myanmar’s temples (front row) Tour guide Rommel Paala, Michael and Matthew Ocbina (back row, from left) Manny Lim, Azon Perez, Letty Hahn, Lulu Castañeda, Marlene Ricarte, Minerva Tanseco, Ronieta Lim and Ricci Castañeda.

Travel has always been a passion for the genial and tireless Minerva Tanseco, so she always makes it a point to plan exciting trips with her travel buddies whether locally or abroad. First stop was a visit to Il Paradiso, a beautiful farm in Villahermoso, Negros Oriental, upon the invitation of good friend Martin Lopez. The happy group also toured the city of Bacolod and The Ruins, a famous tourist spot in Talisay City, Negros Occidental. Minerva and friends then ventured off to explore scenic Myanmar and its historic, well-preserved temples and stupas as well as a famous resort located at Lake Inle.
