The Tivoli sets the mood

Dining at The Tivoli is always an experience to look forward to. Its exquisite surroundings never fail to impress its regular patrons, whether bon vivants, world-weary businessmen, young urban professionals, or families that make it a point to meet at the end of the week.   The Tivoli is famed for its innovative menu and many swear to Tivoli’s signature salad — lobster, prawns, scallops, foie gras, salad greens, slices of mangoes, pineapples and oranges, with a raspberry vinaigrette — which we have grown so fond of to the extent of calling it the “Johnny Litton Salad” whenever yours truly places an order.  Mandarin Oriental, Manila general manager Torsten van Dullemen knows just how important it is to achieve the right ambience to heighten every experience at the fine European dining restaurant.  A recent celebration was the arrival of Best Dressed awardees from New Orleans Ruby Jane and Sheree Chua as well as Maila Garcia.  Debonaire Richard Tiu helped organized the dinner for close friends, which included the brilliant entrepreneur Myrna Yao and media maven Sari Yap.
