GE showcases the future of lighting technology at WorldBex

MANILA, Philippines - GE Lighting showcased the future of lighting technology with brighter and more energy-efficient LED lights at the recent 18th Philippine World Building and Construction Exposition (WorldBex), which gathered over 500 building industry companies from all over the world for emerging trends and breakthroughs in building and construction.

Taking its cue from the theme, “On Solid Ground,” GE Lighting highlighted its portfolio of LED replacement lamps that utilize green technology resulting in longer life, higher illumination, bigger savings and less energy consumption. These products contain no lead and mercury, making them environment-friendly and safe to use.

One of the highlights of GE Lighting’s product exhibit was the launch of the GE Infusion LED Module, a catalogue of smart LED lighting solutions for retail applications that can be easily installed, removed and upgraded thus lowering retrofit and maintenance cost. Completely tool free, this interchangeable modular system is decidedly more flexible and built for the future. The Infusion products are the first GE Lighting Zhaga-compliant LED modules, representing a significant milestone on the road to interchangeability.

“Over the years, we have seen a growing demand for energy saving solutions and GE Lighting addresses this demand with newer, greener technology lighting solutions.  We are excited to collaborate with our customers, designers and end users and show them how significantly they can contribute to environment by simply using GE LED as part of their lighting and design solutions,” noted Ditas Alipao, GE Lighting Philippines Country Product Manager.

In addition, GE Lighting offers more color temperature and CRI options for increased flexibility and future-proof design. With higher lumen output packages and CRI options, these modules represent a major breakthrough in commercial lighting technology, expanding potential applications for LED lighting solutions in retail, museum, office and other environments where light quality is vital to the user experience.

â€œWe wanted to provide a more integrated platform for both end users and specifiers as we showed how the products are used and its illumination and not merely lined up in the booth. Thanks to our LED distributor CYA Industries, we make this event a success,” said Vicente Adorable, GE Lighting Philippines country manager.
