MANILA, Philippines - Dr. Tyrone M. Reyes, noted medical and media practitioner, will be the keynote speaker at the 20th Annual Convention of the Makati Medical Society on March 10 at the Dusit Thani Hotel. Dr. Reyes, who writes a health column, “An Apple a Day,†for The Philippine STAR, will speak on The Role of Media in Medicine and Health, in his keynote address. His talk will tackle the increasing medicine-media interaction, the problems and opportunities it presents, including those in print, electronic, and social media; and the ethical considerations in terms of the exposure of doctors in media.
