Hyatt Hotel and Casino helps to sharpen minds with art

MANILA, Philippines - During the holiday season, Hyatt Hotel and Casino Manila and multi-award winning furniture designer Milo Naval provided a one-of-a-kind Christmas-with-a-cause exhibition. The theme of the unique anthology revolved around pencils and pens made into innovative furniture statement pieces.

The modernly interpreted Christmas installations were recently disassembled. Each pencil and pen from the art pieces was collected and turned over to the Healing Servants Foundation, Inc. for the benefit of the Divine Healer Academy, a school founded by the foundation in Sorsorgon, which provides free schooling to children with educational needs.

Over 20,000 pencils and pens were donated for use by the 335 students currently enrolled in the Academy.
