Destined forever

It was indeed a picture of love made in heaven as Carlo Felicito “Kitz” Baldo Bernardino, dapper son of Teodoro and Estelita Bernardino, was recently united in matrimony with his high school sweetheart Maria Katarina “Trinna” Regalado Velasco, lovely daughter of Francisco and Marietta Velasco, in a paradise-themed wedding officiated by Bishop Broderick Pabillo and Fr. Mark Munda at the Santuario de San Antonio, Forbes Park. The joyful union was happily witnessed by family, close friends, and principal sponsors Dr. Mario and Mayleen Bernardino. It was followed by a lavish reception-dinner at the Peninsula Manila.

May you have a happy and fulfilling marriage, Kitz and Trinna!

A meeting of wines and minds

Wine expert Ines Cabarrus recently started Symposium: A Thinking Man/Woman’s Party to appreciate wine varieties and to cater to the growing interest of Filipinos on wines. Lip-smacking tapas from Spasso and fine wines from Premium Wine Exchange and Happy Living made the event more enticing. A pair of Seair tickets to Batanes was raffled off to lucky guests.

Seen during the night were real- estate magnate Robert Syjuco, Spasso owner Geni Lopez-Psinakis and restaurateur Tina Pamintuan, among others.

Art in Seoul

Multi-awarded director Nick Lizaso recently went to South Korea for the Seoul Education Workshop facilitated by the Lincoln Center Institute, New York. Aiming to define the role of art educators, the workshop was attended by delegates from different countries, including Columbia minister of arts and culture Annamarta de Pizzaro, Education Undersecretary Vilma Labrador and University of British Columbia vice president for academic affairs Anna Kindler.

Kudos to Nick, for his unending love for the arts!
