MANILA, Philippines - At the recent opening of the Circulo Verde Showroom at Greenhills Shopping Center, friends and family of Ortigas & Co, general partners Fernando Ortigas, Jaime Ortigas, and Ignacio Ortigas as well as the top management celebrated more rewarding years for the company, as it continues building the new development in Quezon City.
Seville Residences, set for turnover in 2014, is the third of the five towers to be constructed in phase one of Circulo Verde. In 2009, Ortigas & Co. completed the foundation works of the first two towers, Majorca and Ibiza, with Majorca now sold out and Ibiza with a few units left. Circulo Verde will consist of 15 residential towers upon completion of all phases. Next to Seville, Ortigas & Co. will begin construction of the 23-storey tower, Aragon.
Deputy COO and general manager of the Real Estate Division, Joey Santos, welcomed the guests for the blessing of the showroom, followed by cocktails, as well as a tour of the two- and three-bedroom units.
The model units shown in Greenhills Shopping Center are a two-bedroom corner unit (69 sq.m) and a three-bedroom split layout (95 sq.m), having the standard living room, dining area, kitchen, master bedroom, common toilet and bath, and a maid’s room. Two-bedroom units house some extra features like a wraparound balcony, giving an airy living space. Three-bedroom units have provisions for a study and a walk-in closet in the master bedroom to make room for a dozen more shoes.
Being a development that is labeled “family-centric,” Seville proves ideal for start-up families, families with young children, and empty-nesters and most of Ortigas & Co.’s guests have taken genuine interest in the units.
Next-generation Ortigas leaders, Javier Ortigas, Ish Ortigas Montillo and Ignacio “Nash” Ortigas, also joined the cocktails, along with top architects Michelle Odulio, who designed the interiors of the show units and the lobby, and Luis Zialcita. Among some friends who went to see the showroom were Vic and Mike Muñoz of The Body Shop and Eric Lim of Automatic Center.
