Mimicking the look of stone, carpet & wood

MANILA, Philippines - APO Floors of Puyat Flooring Products, Inc. (PFPI), the only Filipino resilient floor manufacturer, unveiled 19 new designs at the Manilacon 2009 Expo last month at SMX Convention Center. The new Mimicri Luxury Resilient Floors line offers a wide range of versatile designs that mimic the look of stone, carpet, and wood.

Floors used to be purely utilitarian with very few choices of color. However, floors have now become like a fashion item and can give rooms a world of difference.

There are three series to choose from. For a more edgy look, choose the Designer Series, which offers avant-garde designs such as graphite oak, a gray wood look with a silver tinge, and aged oak, a chalk-colored wood. The Classic Series showcases light to dark woods in more classic hues. If you are going for a more casual or ethnic style, the Comfort Series is available, which includes designs such as bamboo.

The Mimicri Stone and Carpet lines offer designs in warm earth tones that can easily blend with any color palette.

Mimicri is also an affordable alternative to the real thing, but it does not compromise beauty, quality, or durability. PFPI prides itself on providing Filipinos with local goods that meet international quality and standards. Anyone who buys APO Floors is assured that the goods are produced by an ISO-certified company that also conforms to the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), British Standards (BS), and Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS). APO Floors gives its clients the right quality at the right price.

APO Floors has other product lines to choose from: APO Homogenous Resilient, commonly used in commercial establishments, and APO Real Wood, which is engineered wood flooring that is locally sourced from a permanent forest, making it a beautiful as well as an environmentally sound choice.

To complement its products, APO Floors also offers APO Power Floor Care, a maintenance care line, and APO Powerbond, a water-based adhesive for the installation of its floors.

Being the only local manufacturer of resilient flooring has its advantages, as APO Floors is capable of supplying vast quantities and has the ability to customize products to fit specific requirements or budgetary constraints. Their products are available nationwide at 500 various types of outlets such as home depots and hardware stores.

APO Floors is part of the Gonzalo Puyat and Sons Group (GONPU). Established in 1907, GONPU is a conglomerate of pioneers and one of the oldest industrial firms in the Philippines with holdings in real estate, steel product manufacturing, mining, flour milling, marine products and agro-industrial development.
