The secrets of aging well

MANILA, Philippines - Reader’s Digest presents “Aging Well,” the health-inspired forum by the world’s popular magazine designed for its loyal readers in the Philippines ages 50 and up, which will be held today from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Gabaldon Room of Club Filipino in Greenhills, San Juan.

A continuation of Reader’s Digest’s successful “Take Heart” health forum, “Aging Well” will feature a whole afternoon of informative, educational yet entertaining activities that will start with a free nutritional assessment courtesy of Gold’s Gym, one of the country’s popular health and fitness centers, coupled with belly dancing and yoga demonstrations from Gold’s Gym instructors.

There will also be presentations from the event’s expert resource speakers like Cathy Babao-Guballa, former editor-in-chief of Health Today, a health magazine distributed in Asia. Joining her is Dr. Martin Camara, a chiropractic specialist and team doctor for the Philippine Olympic team in last year’s Beijing Olympics. He will discuss various aspects on human bone conditions among elderly Filipinos and possible treatments.

The Reader’s Digest “Aging Well” forum is held in cooperation with Enervon Prime, Ajinomoto and Gold’s Gym.

Admission is free. The first 50 registrants will receive a special gift.
