Going for birdie

Not even the looming rain clouds could dampen the spirits of the Mizuno Scramble Golf Classic participants during the 5th leg at the Royal Northwoods Golf and Country Club as able golfers scored several birdies. Led by BMG chief executive officer Lovell Gopez and Master Sports Corporation – Mizuno general manager Paolo M. Cagalingan, the Mizuno Scramble Golf Classic is a revival of a tournament tradition that began in early 1990s and was the original format of the two-man scramble now being adopted by various golf tournaments around the country. Rodel Mangulabnan and Richard Joson finished with a tally of seven birdies to capture the Division I crown finishing two shots ahead of Lee Wha Jun and Lee Hyun Woo. During the awarding ceremonies, a “dance off” challenge ensued. Leave it to the Mizuno team when it comes to a fun filled day of golf. Congratulations!
