Enjoying Boracay during off-peak with media friends

Boracay during the off-peak season becomes calmer, unhurried and less crowded. Your columnist had the privilege of hosting members of the media to a fun Boracay adventure where we visited the island’s top resorts. Thanks to Asian Spirit’s Lingling Rodriguez, who flew us from the busy ways of Manila to this white landscape of pure island bliss.

First on our agenda was a visit to Boracay’s biggest resort, the Boracay Regency Beach Resort and Convention Center. With 195 luxurious rooms, the widest beachfront, a modern convention center and every amenity to ensure guests’ comfort, the Regency lets its visitors experience divine luxury minus the hassles. Thanks to Regency chairman and president Henry Chusuey and the newly promoted assistant general manager, the radiant Jade Estardo, we can expect service that gets better and better with each visit.

The group enjoyed the slight drizzle, with the rain on their faces helping them loosen up and relax. A pleasant dinner and a fun scavenger hunt that followed at Regency’s Café Christina were memorable bonding moments for the very special guests. The group’s night owls gathered at the Wave Disco a little later, where there was plenty of dancing and drinking. It was truly a night worth remembering!

See you at the Regency!
