Fontana Arte has been in the glass fixture industry for more than a century, having been directly affiliated with the historic glassmakers Luigi Fontana in Milan, which was founded in 1881. It was established in 1932 as a key unit of the firm and has since been known for its countless inventions in the field of household furnishings. Although summer is the traditional time for visiting Camp John Hay, the best time to visit is actually during the rainy season. The month of June and onwards is when the pine cones of the famed Benguet pine trees of Baguio reach their maturity stage. The pine cones start falling down to the ground, adorning the forest locale with a lush brown carpet. The bracing scent of pines is manifest in the cool air, giving it a refreshing fragrance.
