MANILA, Philippines - A gathering of toddlers was witnessed at the Museo Pambata, as Pfizer Philippines Foundation Inc., together with Museo Pambata and McDonald’s, implemented a vaccination program for pneumococcal disease (PD). One hundred kids, two to five years old from the different barangays of Manila, specifically Tayuman, Tondo, and Malate, were given free booster shots as protection against this highly invasive disease that has been identified by the World Health Organization (WHO) as the top-killing disease for children.
