MANILA, Philippines - Head to Powerbooks Greenbelt this Saturday, Jan. 31 at 3 p.m. when the second anthology of the 13-year-old Fast Food Fiction series from Anvil Publishing, edited by Palanca Award winner Noelle Q. de Jesus, will be officially launched. Titled Fast Food Fiction Delivery, the anthology is co-edited by de Jesus and multi-award-winning poet and author of two highly celebrated volumes of poetry, Mookie Katigbak Lacuesta. Sixty-eight pieces of flash fiction were selected out of more than 100 submissions, and each story runs between 400 to 700 words.
“It remains a very exciting form, one that fits in well with today’s fast-paced lifestyle. Mookie and I are extremely proud of this collection which includes the work of veterans and novices alike. No matter how fast life goes, there’s always space and time for a good story,” says de Jesus.
