Urban legends

MANILA, Philippines - Tough, rough and edgy, just like any New Yorker, DKNY Jeans mean business and won’t let anything get in their way. The brand revives the rocker spirit and “urban road warrior” look with its eclectic, fall/winter 2011 collection.

DKNY Jeans’ newest collection hits the streets with casual denim and lightweight outerwear working together to capture feel and look of a hard-core New Yorker. With this collection, men and women can mix and layer it up to produce contrasting looks depending on their mood — from tough to pretty, utilitarian to soft, matte to shine, or vintage to glamour.

For menswear, the collection offers a lineup of knits, button-downs, flannel shirts, raw and rugged denim jeans, and various types of utilitarian jackets. With the use of clashing fabrics, patterns and mixed yarns, this collection merges authentic military pieces with edgy classics for serious rocker attitude.

Men can hit the evening with an eccentric downtown vibe in a knit tuxedo blazer and ultra-skin silver metallic jeans. Other items are the ombre wool peacoat and ergonomic cargo pants, color block crewnecks and printed cable cardigans.

Block rockin’ beats: Color blocking, ombre shading and graphic details transform everyday looks into urban chic.

Going beyond expectations is DKNY Jeans’ denims, which move beyond the tried and true with super-sleek jeggings, wide-leg trousers, ruffled band jackets, pleated minis and biker jeans. This fall’s denim comes in layered washes from indigo to sharkskin grays, pigment-dyed purple, and extreme black. Additional details and finishing touches in these denims include aging, hand sanding, damages and lace prints that emphasize texture, and clipped back pockets as a tribute to modern-day metro cards.

Bringing to the forefront a real, everyday New York look from the subways, dress us and show the world a laidback attitude with DKNY Jeans fall 2011 collection.

In the Philippines, DKNY Jeans is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists, Inc. (SSI) and is located at, Greenbelt 5 and Rockwell.
