MANILA, Philippines - In creating his latest RTW collection for men, designer Boyet Fajardo sticks to the basic palette but experiments with edgier and sexier cuts, while maintaining overall the classic look he is known for.
Launched three years ago, Boyet Fajardo’s menswear has gained its following among the Filipino men looking to combine style and affordability — without sacrificing quality — in their wardrobe
“It is important for people to be able to marry form and function with affordability in their clothes. That has been my design philosophy ever since. Also, I’ve been blessed to work with my network of regional manufacturers and suppliers and that’s the main reason why I have been able to deliver the best options for my clients,” expains Fajardo.
Fajardo’s latest designs are relaxed yet luxurious pieces worn layered with button-down shirts or teamed with jackets and perfect fit-slim pants for a more semi-formal look. The collection is injected with that youthful attitude and can easily be mixed and matched.
His formal wear and suits in pinstripes, black, brown, and gray are also standouts. As always, the tailoring has a quiet yet confident sophistication.
Fajardo, who is celebrating his 30th year in the fashion industry, also introduces his deconstructed jackets with oversized zippers and buckles that are fast becoming the favorite of the younger set.
The latest ready-to-wear collection for men of Boyet Fajardo is basically a contemporary take on the everyday wear of corporate men and yuppies.
Boyet Fajardo is available nationwide at SM Department Stores, Robinsons Department Stores, Cinderella, The Landmark, KCC Mall in Cotabato and General Santos, Gaisano Mall in Cagayan de Oro and soon in another mall in Davao City.
