MANILA, Philippines - Makati Shangri-La scored a double win as Inagiku and Shang Palace were recently named Best Japanese Restaurant and Best Chinese Restaurant, respectively, at the 2009 Nescafé Gold Spot Awards. Among the criteria used were food quality and taste, freshness of ingredients, authenticity, presentation, service, atmosphere, and comfort.
Also entering the honor roll is Paparazzi of Edsa Shangri-La, which was named Best Italian Restaurant.
Aimed at recognizing the best dining establishments and celebrating Manila as a culinary destination, the Nescafé Gold Spot Awards is a project of Nescafé Gold and www.spot.ph.
With the recognition, Makati Shangri-La further proves that the hotel is a one-stop premier dining destination right in the middle of the city’s central business district.
Apart from Inagiku, also a nominee for Best Service with its world-class Japanese cuisine, and Shang Palace, known for its authentic Cantonese fare and a large selection of dim sum, the hotel’s other restaurants offer diners a plethora of culinary choices.
