MANILA, Philippines — Binibining Pilipinas 2022 Nicole Borromeo, the country's representative to the 61st Miss International pageant, has arrived in Tokyo in time for the several pre-pageant events and activities leading to the final show.
In its social media page, the Miss International Organization wrote, "Change is inevitable, but our tradition lives on. We are excited to announce that the 61st Miss International beauty pageant will be held in a bigger venue, with more than 70 delegates from around the world showcasing the unique attributes of their culture and individuality."
Last year, Binibining Pilipinas International 2021 Hannah Arnold was the only Asian to have placed in the Top 15 semifinal round through the online poll. This year, the pageant community is encouraging Filipino fans and supporters to vote for Nicole in the online poll to assure her chances of placing in the semifinals.
To vote for Nicole, simply download the Miss International app on the Apple Store or Android Play Store. Pollsters can vote for Nicole several times until the close of the voting period.
The Miss International 2023 coronation night will unfold on October 26 at the Yoyogi Gymnasium No. 2 in Shibuya, Japan. Reigning queen Jasmin Selberg of Germany will crown her successor at the close of the coronation rites. Stay tuned!
