MANILA, Philippines - Famed designer Rajo Laurel ventures out of his comfort zone by designing an intimate apparel, as part of his collaboration with one of the country's top direct-selling companies.
Rajo's collection, which will come out this November, is divided into two sets - the floral pop collection and the regalia collection. Both include intimate wear apart from the bags and jewelry.

During the launch of his line, Rajo told Philstar.com that designing the brassieres is the most challenging part in completing the collection.
"It is a little bit of challenging because I wanted to see and know how the bras would feel. But because I do not wear bras, it was very hard for me," the designer said.
He also added that as a high fashion designer, he has been accustomed to creating pieces based on how they look and not really on how they feel.
"The rest of the items are very visual so it's easy to design. With intimate apparel, there's an action of how it should feel. And that particular aspect, I needed to understand that more," he said.
Fortunately, the designs came out good as envisioned.
The Regalia Underwire Push-Up Dream Bra is made for intimate moments. It’s an underwire dream bra with cookies that enhance a woman’s cleavage. Adorned with an emerald-colored lace design that gives a sexy tattoo effect.
Meanwhile, for those who love to keep it sweet and simple, Rajo created the underwire full cup bra with an all-over floral print to match the rest of the Floral Pop collection. It features a U-back design for comfort and support.
Rajo describes his collection as a gift to every woman who deserves to be celebrated and pampered with beautiful apparels.
