MANILA, Philippines — Roberta Mancino traveled all the way to a lagoon in the middle of the Banco Chinchorro to swim and smize with the reptiles of the Gulf of Mexico.

The Italian model, who is also a professional skydiver, wingsuit pilot and stunt woman did this to fulfill her longtime dream and prove a point.

"Obviously I don't want everyone to start swimming with crocodiles but I wanted to show that they are not bad animals," Manchino told Mirror.co.uk

The Italian model spent 10 hours every day for five days swimming alongside the crocodiles to familiarize herself with them before finally proceeding to the shoot.

The Banco Chinchorro reef is around 25 miles long and is known as one of the the best places in the world to see American crocodiles that can grow up to four meters long.
