In its fourth last year, this annual ball celebrated the amazing evolution of Philippine fashion and, as a tradition, honored the efforts of the people who have helped make this happen. Special awards were given to those who have greatly contributed in making the Filipino style sense well-known both locally and abroad.

This year’s awardees were John Valle for hairstyling; Peps Silvestre and Paolo Maranan for make-up & grooming; BJ Pascual for photography; Ria Bolivar and Jasmine Maierhofer for fashion modeling; Vince Uy (Preview magazine), Suki Salvador (Mega magazine) and Rey Ilagan (Garage magazine) for creative direction; Myrza Sison for fashion media; and Jojie Lloren and Michael Cinco for fashion design.

Industry awards were also given to Raul Manzano for Metro Society’s Jose “Pitoy” Moreno: A Tribute Gala; Ayala Malls and Philippine Star Lifestyle editor Millet Mananquil for Style Origin, and Philippine Daily Inquirer Lifestyle editor Thelma San Juan for Face-Off.

With the theme “Design without Borders,” the designers defied limits with their innovative creations. They were Edwin Ao, Renan Pacson, Proudrace, JMan, Sassa Jimenez, Yvonne Quisumbing, Jerome Lorico, and OS Accessories.
