MANILA, Philippines — For the eighth consecutive year, Giselle Bündchen keeps the throne as the highest-paid model in the world as listed in Forbes Magazine.

From last year's $42 million, the Brazilian model made a jaw-dropping $47 million in the last 12 months, easily upstaging Victoria's Secret model of Dutch descent Doutzen Kroes and Brazilian Victoria's Secret 'angel' Adriana Lima who landed in the second and third spot this year, both having acquired $8 million.

Forbes calculated the earnings from June 2013 to June 2014 for the models and looked at income from cosmetics, endorsements, advertising and fragrance deals.

Earnings of the 21 highest-paid models amounts to a combined$142 million—a clear proof that their faultless genes and supreme knowledge in their job are a deadly combination make them serious money makers.
