Usually, the designer will suggest that the bridal entourage adopt a certain look, meaning aside from having gowns in complementary colors, your hairstyle and make-up will probably be done in similar fashion. That goes for shoes and accessories as well. Should that not be the case for this particular one and you are given a free hand on what accessories to use, I’d say diamond or pearl studs would be the way to go. Keep it simple yet elegant. We read your column today about Maricar’s overplucked eyebrow problem and lf’s query on lice-free shampoo. Overplucking eyebrows has been a problem for me, too. Maybe she’d like to check out this herbal shop I discovered at the third floor of Robinsons Galeria on Ortigas called Sure Grow Center, where I bought an organic eyebrow restorer that grew back my overplucked eyebrows in less than a month. I have this problem with my left leg because of varicose veins. I’ve been told by my mom that it’s inborn and I have no choice but to accept it. Mom said the varicose veins were the side effects of the pills she took when I was still in her womb.
