Olazo’s largest work

MANILA, Philippines - Romulo Olazo continued his personal dialogue with scale and space as Paseo Gallery mounted his one-man-one painting exhibit at the Artist Space of the Ayala Museum.

Diaphanous B-CCXXXV is the largest work the artist has produced. It is 6 feet in height and panoramically spans 20 feet in length.

The exhibition caps a festive season which saw the launch of Olazo’s comprehensive coffeetable art book, as well as the celebration of his 80th birthday, both held at the Ayala Museum. Photos by JOEY VIDUYA

At the exhibit closing reception are (from left) Eileen Legaspi-Ramirez, Evelyn Legaspi, Pastor Dennis Legaspi, Grace Glory Go, Romulo and Patricia Olazo, John Valenzuela of Paseo Gallery, Joanne Jill-Olazo, Raul Glenn Cuevo and Noelle Nieves-Olazo
