MANILA, Philippines — Kim Chiu, then a newbie from Cebu City who broke into the showbiz scene in the mid-2000s, left a lasting impression on a younger girl.
So much so that when this younger girl became a successful businesswoman, she sought out the “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition” (2006) first grand winner to be an ambassadress for her brand’s newest product.

Before Kim was introduced onstage The Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan on June 2, Brilliant endorsers such as actress-rocker Arci Muñoz and heartthrob and Kim’s reel partner Paulo Avelino performed for about 1,200 franchisees and distributors (F&D) from all over the country.
An overwhelmed Miss Glenda gushed: “Nandito ‘yong Lola ko, ‘yong family ko. She’s [Miss Glenda’s Inang] the reason why ako nandito. Gusto kong ipakita sa kanya na lahat ng pinaghirapan mo, ito na ‘yong bunga ng maraming nagmamahal sa apo mo, and ang dami pong nagmamahal sa Brilliant Skin— lalo na po kayo [F&D]. Kaya sabi ko bibigyan ko ng magandang launching ang Hello Melo, ang ating bagong product.”

The Kapamilya actress also couldn't contain her excitement, saying: “I am very excited for this collaboration. Tsaka syempre more collagen, mas babata talaga tayo.
