MANILA, Philippines - Ayala Malls, in partnership with MasterCard, Raffles and Fairmont Makati, Intercontinental Manila, Holiday Inn and Suites, Seda, Ascott Makati, Dusit Thani, El Nido Resorts, Baron Travel, Rajah Travel, and Philippine Airlines, recently held “Great Escapes,” the first-ever grand travel fair at the Glorietta Activity Center, Palm Drive.

One-of-a-kind dining tours are available. Prominent food blogger Lori Baltazar will make you fall in love with the sweet offerings of Glorietta and Greenbelt in the Desserts Comes First Experience. Coffee Pairings + Craft a Cup with JJ Yulo lets participants appreciate the art of making delectable blends and will also let them take home their own coffee morsels. Last but not least, Xandra Rocha-Araneta will feature dining destinations around Glorietta and Greenbelt in the Gastro Feast Experience.

Shopping experiences await style adherents in premier retail hubs such as Market! Market!’s Pearl Market and Glorietta’s department stores — SM Makati, The Landmark Makati and Rustan’s Makati — culminating in a historical tour at the Ayala Museum.

Great Escapes also grants film enthusiasts an exclusive, all-access pass to select film festival movie screenings at Glorietta and Greenbelt cinemas.

Also showcased were reasonably priced Philippine Airlines airfares for both local and international destinations, and hotel packages with shopping money. For beach lovers, Palawan’s popular paradise islands, El Nido Resorts, offered promotional rates for its trio of beautiful resorts: Apulit, Miniloc, and Lagen. For those who prefer accessible staycation spots, the travel fair spotlighted five-star hotels’ friendly accommodation rates.
