MANILA, Philippines - 3D Vizion seeks to revolutionize the cluttered landscape of Philippine advertising with its latest innovation — the glasses-free 3D display system.
A pioneer in the industry, 3D Vizion answers advertising problems by providing an end-to-end solution that includes the production of materials, distribution on the company’s strategically dispersed glasses-free 3D screens network, and audience measurement and analysis using a product called 3D Genie.
The Filipino-owned company invited members of the press to an exclusive luncheon at Shangri-La Hotel in Makati City so that they could experience this innovative technology.
3DVizion president and CEO Katrina Bantug, director of content and technology Ed Travis, and chairman Mohan Kulkarni discussed guests what their new innovation is all about.
“Glasses-free 3D screens leave such a lasting imprint. Studies have shown that it is 10 times more effective than regular 2D media,” says Bantug. “Studies have shown that when used in a mall, the sales of the brand featured in the glasses-free 3D screen went up at least 12 percent in addition to the store reporting a 34 percent increase in consumer traffic.”
The 3DVizion system provides viewers with improved 3D projection coupled with high-definition 2D images, more spots for comfortable viewing and most importantly, a glasses-free experience.
But glasses-free 3D is more than just a screen — it’s a selling tool.
Indeed, the Philippine advertising industry’s foray to utilize glasses-free 3D screens is years overdue. Backed by multiple studies, the technology has a proven track record of heightened engagement, yielding 92 percent in memory retention among audience, with 68 percent of the number displaying a higher probability of following the experience with a purchase.
“What makes glasses-free 3D screens different from other advertising platforms is that it makes people buy,” shares Bantug. “At the end of the day, 3DVizion’s glasses-free 3D screens are selling tools. They cut through all the clutter, make people take notice, remember and ultimately buy.”
