Hitachi lights up Pinoys' lives

MANILA, Philippines - One of the conglomerates that continuously exert effort to rouse hope among Filipinos is the Hitachi Group of Companies. Last December at the South Arcade Area of the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City, it initiated a Christmas wish tree lighting ceremony entitled Hitachi Wish Upon a Tree, where a “Christmas Gift” donation was handed to the Philippine National Red Cross to aid in the rehabilitation of the victims of typhoon Ondoy and Pepeng. PNRC’s representative, program officer Ibrahim Badiee, received the donation.

In attendance were Hitachi Company chiefs and stakeholders, along with key company employees and media partners headed by Takaaki Heishi, president of Hitachi Industrial Machinery Phils. Corp. and chairman of Hitachi-Kai (also known as the Hitachi Group Meeting), who shared some very inspiring words.
